Active/Miss Daisy participates in Survivor's Lap - NZ

Publisert: 17.08.09

Nyhetsbilde Marylou from New Zealand has finally been able to participate in the "Survivor's Lap" at the Cancer Society's Relay for Life with her newly aquired Active Walker, which she has named Miss Daisy.

Marylou has had problems walking and even standing because of her Spinal Stenosis, but this year is different. This year she entered the Survovor's Lap for the first time and here are her comments:

"Well the Relay For Life has come and gone and I was in a high for hours! The Survivor's Lap was a breeze ( I even thought they were going a bit slow). I certainly could have carried on longer but they needed the course for the teams.

Miss Daisy drew a few comments as to how she just hopped up a kerb, her big wheels, ease of manoeuvering and folding up. She was the most stylish one there. I am so pleased with it (or should I say "her")"

We congratulate both Marylou and Miss Daisy, and thank her for sharing her story with us.
